| Excerpt | Rezumat: Pornind de la cercetările anterioare ale Suzanei Dolinescu-Ferche, acest studiu sistematizează informaţiile despre structurile de combustie de la începutul Evului Mediu Timpuriu. Lucrarea analizează, din punct de vedere al sistemului constructiv, principale tipuri de cuptoare descoperite în aşezările din microzona râurilor Colentina şi Dâmboviţa. Se disting astfel două categorii cu funcţionalităţi diferite: cuptorul amenajat în interiorul gropii locuinţei, care permite focul cu flacără, şi cel amenajat în peretele acesteia, destinat exclusiv folosirii jarului. Abstract: Building on the previous research by Suzana Dolinescu-Ferche, this study systematizes the information regarding combustion structures from the beginning of the Early Middle Ages. The paper analyzes, from a structural perspective, the main types of kilns discovered in the settlements located within the Colentina and Dâmboviţa rivers micro-zone. Two categories with distinct functionalities are thus identified: the kiln set within the dwelling pit, which allows for an open flame, and the one carved into the wall, intended exclusively for the use of embers. |
